I know this is an old post but I did happen to meet with your Charlotte, NC Upsolute partner. They did pull my ECU information via OBD-II port and said they would work on trying to figure out how to tune this model, however they never did get back to me. I did call and email several times, but never did get a response back. I am still interested in having my car tuned through Upsolute. What can I do?

Bei Ihrem Fahrzeug handelt es sich um eine per Software gedrosselte Version.  Bezüglich der Tiptronic brauchen Sie keine Bedenken zu haben, nur bei Fahrzeugen mit Multitronic erstellen wir eine dezentere Software mit weniger Leistung und Drehmoment.

Die Ergebnisse nach dem Tuning sind identisch mit der 180 PS Version.

i will ask ford to recheck the car. i've read that a specific lot of cars similar to mine have had a problem with the fuel pump that caused similar interruptions when chipped. i will try to discuss this with ford.

thanks for your posting. This is the first time, that we experience such a problem with this engine. I know, the problem is not there, when you put back the original software. Could you contact the Ford Dealer, maybe they can find out, what the problem is.

As we have tuned this engine/ecu many times without any troubles, I think, there is a mechanical fault causing the interruption.

hi I live in romania and I've had my 2008 ford mondeo 2.5 turbo chipped with upsolute for a second time last week by your local dealer aspad.

they have been helpful but the problem remains - at full throttle from low rpm - in any gear - there is an abrupt fueling interruption at 3000 rpm. if i back off the throttle or acceleate gently the problem dissapears. this is very disturbing especially when overtaking and also sends nasty shocks into engine and transmission.

any input would be appreciated. thank you

Got the new program from my dealer who got it from the main office. So far it seems to function as designed. Will definitely drive it more this weekend, and in the month to come as I get comfortable with it's reliability. For the sake of completeness I'll post a mid-term update after that, but it will be awhile. This company is very easy to work with.
