So, to clear some rumors, with the 285NM it's pretty hard to get out 160hp. If you want that kind of power, you need to accept MASSIVE smoke. I would not recommend this version (and we never have tested it) since our mission always was to keep the smoke level acceptable! JRTTDI will confirm that his car already smokes (acceptable) with arround 150hp.
I would recommend you the 150hp Version...

Does my car smoke all the time?? i think it'll smoke under hard acceleration and a little time(correct me if i'm wrong!!!) so I don't care about smoking...
that i want is to doesn't blow my motor and keep it longest...
if there is a risk (a big), i'll take the 150 hp optimization otherwise i'll take 160 Hp...

There is a "sweet spot" to be found in the diesel-request pedal by pressing it progressively fast, that won´t produce smoke but would let you leave the pack behind like you were shot from a slingshot. Then there´s that James Bond Thing that could break your passenger´s neck from whiplash or, like my girlfriend always love to say, a high pressure against her bre ahhh chests whenever I kick that pedal down violently. This latter way as Alex says still has very acceptable smoke level except probably for bad guys. Note: I have zero tolerance for smoking and anyone caught doing so in my Golf will get the Mozambique Drill

I don't drive hard all the time but i want to enjoy with power and speed sometimes
I want to keep my motor longest, of course I take care of my motor (very good oil, good gasoline ...)

I have a HDi (90), you claim 116...more or less, does it smoke!?!
I`m considering adapting an intercooler, should i buy the chip for the 110?
Do you make custom chips? If so, how much?
