Rica/Reco/Chip Tuning do a chip for this for 195bhp (from 160).

Do Upsolute do one, if not are there any plans?

So fare, we have not tuned the MG ZT 1.8 Turbo. We ore one of our resellers would need to check out, what kind of ECU is installed in the car or if the car is possible to tune by the serial port. (OBD Tuning)So if you are interested, you are welcome to contact the next distributer to you. The increase of 35 hp is realistic.

It´s possible i think, i have read a few MG ZR and ZT and they can be read with the OBD-2 tool. Where are you located?

Thank you can contact Mr. Simon Coe (his contact address can be found in the distributer page) , he has the necessary OBD Tool to check your car and sent me the file. Than I can tell you further details.

Simon came and took an ecu map from my car.

He says its a Motorola Ecu, and that Upsolute cannot currently calculate the checksum for this ecu.

Is there any hope for this to happen?

HEllo,

the checksums are updated from time to time and new checksums came out for the newest ECU's. I am sure, within the next months, there it will be possible to tune this car. Please stay in contact with Simon, he will keep you updated.
